‘Foodies United’ is a group chat on Facebook, which consists of 27 women, currently or previously experiencing an eating disorder, as well as a psychologist. Those women are in the target group of young adults (18-35) and were chosen as they could be easily contacted since the researcher is also a member of this group due to her previous experience with the disorder itself. ‘Foodies United’ is a place for mutual help, where people can share what tortures their mind and to just talk to others, who are going through similar troubles.
